Hot Sake! Though Sake is, of course, just as nice cold. Though on a breezy March evening I think I would most definately prefered my Sake hot. It was indeed a breezy March evening, but no sake for your estwhile photographer, too busy on camera duty. And yes indeed, here are the glorious results to prove it… If you’ve been to an Aphrodisiacs London party before, you know the deal. Fabulous people, great costumes, brilliant colours. Design Museum Super Contemporary after party

On board The Harpy, moored just off Tower Bridge (not London Bridge, dontcha know) was the scene for a rather swizz little after party to celebrate the cerebral modern-design type happenings at the Design Museum. With the launch of the new Super Contemporary exhibition, what better way to mark it than with a right old gin soaked knees up, via Beefeater 24 and Lost Vagueness Events. In attendance was Desmond Payne – master distiller for Beefeater Gin, the gramophone wielding Uneven Steven, aerialist Mamzelle Fifi doing moves over the Bridge, Anna Pianna on piano, a fox, a dog in a box and a couple of badgers. I didn’t make that last bit up.

What better way to spend a lazy spring Saturday afternoon than deep underground in a converted loo with Chinese burlesque supremo Marianne Cheesecake. Self same loo now happens to have had quite the original makeover compared to it’s former occupation and serves jolly fine cocktails to boot. Cin cin.

Rude Santa – a picture of seasonal popularity

Every year I get a blip in stats centered around this particular image. Its probably because I seem to have conquered Google for the search term “rude santa”. I’m not sure how I feel about that really – but typing in the aforementioned phrase into Google returns my image up in both number one and number three slots and a text link in number four spot. So I must be doing something right, even if it does look so so wrong.
